Questions, answered

The things people ask before they buy, finance or book a service with us. If yours is not here, call and ask a person.

Financing

  • Do you finance ATVs and side-by-sides?

Yes. We arrange financing on every category we sell — ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, watercraft, boats and golf carts, new or pre-owned. Apply online and we will come back to you with terms, usually the same business day. There is no charge to apply and no obligation to buy.

  • Can I get financed with less than perfect credit?

Often, yes. We work with several lenders rather than one, which means a decline in one place is not the end of the conversation. A larger deposit or a trade-in strengthens an application considerably. Apply and we will tell you honestly where you stand rather than leaving you guessing.

  • What deposit do I need?

It depends on the lender, the unit and your credit profile. Ten to twenty percent is typical, and some approvals need nothing down. The payment calculator on our financing page lets you model different deposits before you apply.

  • Will applying hurt my credit score?

A full application is a hard credit inquiry, which can move a score slightly. Tell us if you would rather start with a pre-qualification conversation — we can talk through likely terms before anything is submitted.

Buying & delivery

  • Can I reserve a unit online?

Yes. Every unit page has an order option. You choose how you would prefer to pay, submit the order, and get an invoice with a reference number straight away. Nothing is charged at that point — we contact you to confirm availability and arrange payment before anything moves.

  • Do you deliver, or do I collect?

Both. Collection from our Burlington showroom is free, and we deliver across Vermont and the surrounding area for a fee that depends on distance and the unit. Tell us your address when you order and we will quote it.

  • Is the price on the website the price I pay?

The listed price is the unit price. Tax, title, registration and any documentation fee are added on top, as they are at any dealer. We will give you an itemised out-the-door figure before you commit — ask and you will get it in writing.

  • Can I see a unit before I buy it?

Please do. Come to 219 Intervale Ave, Burlington and look it over in person. Call ahead on (802) 343-2491 if you want a specific machine pulled out and ready when you arrive.

  • Do I need a licence to ride an ATV in Vermont?

Rules vary by machine and where you ride, and they change — check the current requirements with the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles and VASA before you buy. We will tell you what we know about a specific unit, but treat the state as the authority rather than us.

Trade-ins

  • Do you take trade-ins?

Yes, on anything we would sell — motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, watercraft, boats and golf carts. Fill in the trade-in form with the year, make, model and hours or mileage, add a few photos, and we will come back with a range. A final number needs us to see it.

  • Can I trade in something I still owe money on?

Yes. If the unit is worth more than the settlement figure, the difference goes towards your next machine. If it is worth less, that shortfall can often be rolled into the new finance agreement. Bring your current statement and we will work it through with you.

Service & workshop

  • Do you service machines you did not sell?

Yes. Our workshop takes any make, wherever you bought it. Factory-certified technicians, and we will tell you what a job needs before we start rather than after.

  • Do you winterize watercraft and boats?

Yes, and in Vermont it matters. Winterization covers stabilising fuel, flushing and draining the cooling system, fogging the engine, changing oil where applicable and treating the battery. Book before the first hard freeze — the last two weeks of the season are always the busiest.

  • How long does a service take?

Routine maintenance is usually same-day or next-day. Bigger jobs depend on parts availability, and we will give you a realistic estimate up front. If a timeline slips, you hear it from us rather than finding out when you turn up.

  • Can you order a part you do not stock?

Yes. Tell us the make, model and year — a VIN or engine number if you have it — and we will source it. Most parts arrive within a few business days.
